University of Melbourne Science Graduate Scholarship (International)
University of Melbourne have increased the pool of available scholarships and are delighted to announce the new Science Graduate Scholarship (International). Eligible scholars will receive a one-off AU$10,000 remission fee. The scholarship will apply to all eligible students commencing studies in 2019, including students who already hold an offer for 2019. These students will receive their scholarship offer soon.

- Master of Computational Biology (MC-COMPBIO)
- Master of Environmental Science (MC-ENVSC)
- Master of Ecosystem Management and Conservation (MC-ECOSMC)
- Master of Geography (MC-GEOG)
- Master of Geoscience (MC-GEOSC)
- Master of Urban Horticulture (MC-URBHORT)
- Master of Science (Biosciences) (MC-SCIBIO)
- Master of Science (Chemistry) (MC-SCICHE)
- Master of Science (Earth Sciences) (MC-SCIEAR)
- Master of Science (Ecosystem Science) (MC-SCIECO)
- Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) (MC-SCIMAT)
- Master of Science (Physics) (MC-SCIPHY)
These scholarships are on offer for students who achieve an entry score of at least 80% (University of Melbourne equivalent) for all eligible programs except for the Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) where an entry score of at least 85% (University of Melbourne equivalent) is required. Students do not need to submit a separate application, as they will automatically be assessed as part of the assessment process.
Application closing dates:
- Semester 1 (February) entry – 31 October 2018
- Semester 2 (July) entry – 30 April 2019
Late application closing dates*
- Semester 1 (February) entry – 1 January 2019
- Semester 2 (July) entry – 31 May 2019
*Late applications may be accepted based on the availability of places. To make things easier, we are opening the late application deadline until January 2019 for Semester 1 commencement. Please note that once applications have been received (including all relevant documents), the standard processing time is 4-6 weeks.
